Theatrical immersive environments for learning and exploration including; multi media presentations, touch screen computer displays, microscopes and other interactive exhibits. Development of graphic interpretation. Displays of artifacts.
The computer, multimedia and electronic technologies are presented as "High touch" rather than "High Tech". Computer graphics are created from hands on "Old World" craftsmanship and personal artistic interpretation. This approach helps to make high technology more accessible and free of many of its perceived barriers.
The Lab is filled with tools to explore and learn about The Meadowlands. Exhibits include:video array programs (each program about 3 minutes long), taxidermy, specimens of wildlife, microscopes to examine wildlife, high-speed web access to The Meadowlands web site, and computer based exhibits about: birds; wildlife and history; things to see and do; statistical tools; satellite images; and careers that help the environment
